These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dominican Dental Guide (the "Site"), operated by Bizi Digital Limited (Hong Kong company no. 2891122) ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, or by submitting a quote or guide request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. What we are, and what we are not
The Site is an independent information and referral platform for people considering dental treatment in the Dominican Republic. We provide information, listings of third-party clinics, and an optional service that connects you with one or more clinics on request.
We are not a dental or medical provider, a broker or agent of any clinic, a travel agent, or an insurer. We do not provide dental, medical, travel, or financial services, and we do not arrange, supervise, or take responsibility for any treatment. Any treatment you receive is provided solely by an independent clinic under a separate agreement between you and that clinic.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site.
3. The quote and referral service
If you submit a request, you authorise us to share the information you provide (which may include your name, contact details, and the treatment, budget, timeline, and location information you give) with one or more clinics so they can respond to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.
We do not control whether, how, or when a clinic responds, and we do not guarantee any quote, price, appointment, availability, or outcome. Once you are in contact with a clinic, your dealings are directly between you and that clinic. We are not a party to and are not responsible for any agreement, treatment, payment, or dispute between you and a clinic.
4. No professional relationship, no advice
Using the Site does not create any dentist-patient, doctor-patient, or professional-client relationship with us. Nothing on the Site is medical, dental, legal, or financial advice. See our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Clinic listings and verification
Clinic information is compiled from public and third-party sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. A "Verified by the DR Verified Network" or similar badge reflects only the specific, limited check we describe on the Site, carried out at a point in time, and is not a guarantee or recommendation. A “Claimed” badge indicates only that the listing owner has confirmed control of their listing, and does not itself involve any check by us. You are responsible for independently verifying any clinic and its credentials before committing to treatment.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Site only for lawful personal purposes, not to submit another person's details without their permission, and not to misuse, scrape, copy, or disrupt the Site or its content.
7. Assumption of risk
You understand that seeking or receiving dental treatment abroad carries risks, and you accept those risks. You are responsible for your own decisions about treatment, providers, travel, and aftercare.
8. Intellectual property
The Site, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view content for personal use. You may not reproduce, republish, or exploit it commercially without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, our owners, and our personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site, your dealings with any clinic, or any treatment you receive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, or [USD 100].
Some US states and Canadian provinces do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with any clinic.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The right choice depends on your entity and where your users are, so this section must be set by counsel.]
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted, with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
